DEALING WITH BODY ODOUR AND BAD BREATH
In rare instances, body odour or bad breath is a sign that something's wrong. In most cases, however, it's perfectly normal.
- Typical body odour can be controlled by regular bathing, shaving, wearing clean clothing and using deodorant.
- A dry mouth allows bacteria to thrive. These bacteria often make compounds that contain sulphur, which produces a rotten-eggs-like smell.
- Regular tooth brushing and use of mouthwash can help tame bad breath.
Here are our pharmacist’s additional suggestions:
- Clean and care for your teeth and mouth.See your dentist regularly.
- Keep your mouth moist and your body dry.
- Avoid eating onions, garlic and other strongsmelling foods.
